I was at a Civil War show with 650 tables of dealers in Mansfield, Ohio, last weekend (5/7/05). I purchased a Merrimac token "made from the armor plate of the Merrimac" made in 1907 during the Jamestown Exposition. The same dealer had a piece of iron, the size of a paper weight, inscribed "made from the iron of the Merrimac. I believe these pieces are genuine and worth $300 to $500 each. sincerely Tim
