: HI
: I am planning to build a working model of the Virginia .
: Can anyone help me ,if you have photos ,plans ,or where I can obtain a fibreglass or abs hull off araund 35-40 inches I would be eternaly greatful

Hi Mabry
It has been five years since you posted this so I wonder how goes progress? I am also beginning research on the CSS Virginia and recently purchased "Ironclad Down" by Carl D. Park. Lots of information to be digested. However, I am interested in how to go about constructing a hull out of fiberglas or some other material.

I already have the steam engines and boiler that I plan to use. It is time to begin construction of the hull to accommodate those items plus the drive shaft and radio control parts. Please let me know what you have accomplished.
~John~
